Dennis has been in solo practice in Jefferson County, since October, 2000. He previously labored within the company of Polidori, Rasmussen, Gerome and Jacobson from 1983 to 2000. Dennis started his profession as Deputy District Attorney for the State of Colorado, serving in the First Judicial District prosecuting cases in Jefferson and Gilpin County.
